How It Works
Overview:
Wendells' mission is to find quality relationships for members based on their personal desires, core values, personality traits and interests. Your details and photos are only displayed to the people with whom you are a compatible match. So you can only see and be seen by the people that matter.
Once a possible match is found a member can send emails to that person using an internal Wendells' email account or, participate in an online chat with full video imaging. At no time does the possible match have access to your personal details.
All communications are within the Wendells framework so you are completely anonymous until you feel comfortable enough to give your details to your match. Wendells is a safe and simple way to find a partner with the highest probability of success. Finding the “right one” requires time and effort. There is a "chemistry" in relationships that is not merely based on values and personality, but on perceptions, sensations, identification and fantasies. While Wendells can go so far with the science of matching the chemistry in the end is up to you.
The Questionnaire:
Each new member entering the site will be asked to undertake a professionally designed questionnaire. The questionnaire covers a range of areas for compatibility matching and personality assessment. Based on the responses gathered, a profile of each member is compiled and a detailed personality assessment is provided to you (not to your matches) as valuable personal feedback.
The Matching Process:
There is no need to search endless pictures and profiles - Wendells will screen for compatible matches and brings these matches to you for your consideration.
A professionally designed matching process based on the most contemporary research available is used to compare and match you to other Wendells members. This matching process considers your personality and how it will interact with a possible partner. It also matches core values and to the maximum extent possible personal desires.
The Wendells process has been developed with the guidance from one of the world’s leading relationship Psychologists. Professor Halford is a clinical psychologist whose work focuses upon couples and family relationships. He has published 4 books and over 120 articles, and has more than 20 years experience in the field.
Member Notifications:
A member can be notified of a new profile, chat requests, and incoming emails at Wendells. Notification can be either by SMS or email to a nominated email account which can be activated via "settings" in My Account at Wendells. The nominated email address is not given to anyone and is only used for notifications and administration by Wendells' staff.
Credibility and Honesty:
In all areas of life credibility and honesty are important qualities to have or desire in others. Wendells has built into the process member’s credibility feedback. Each member is awarded a credibility rating starting at bronze (through to Platinum), and it is displayed beside each member's profile. After meeting other Wendell's members in live chat, or in person, your rating is calculated from their feedback and is based on credibility and behaviour. Members who depict themselves inaccurately will consequently receive a lower credibility rating. This is a very powerful feature of Wendells, ensuring that the members on the site have the highest standards of honesty and credibility.
Privacy and Information Security:
At Wendells, the privacy of members is paramount. All data is stored in a highly secure database with the most advanced firewalls and protection software available. In addition, all personal identifying data (e.g. real name and address) is encrypted to 128 bits within that data base for even greater protection. Credit card information is not held at all as it is delivered directly to the card provider when entered. Your details will not be on sold under any circumstance to any other company (common practise in the industry).
